W. Crosskey II, AIA
Principal-In-Charge
William W. Crosskey II, A.I.A. graduated cum laude from
the Syracuse University School of Architecture in 1979 with a double
major in Architecture and Architectural History. Before establishing
Crosskey Architects in 1984, he was involved with design and project
administration on a variety of commercial and multi-family residential
projects including new construction and renovation for public and private
clients throughout New England.
His personal commitment to preseving our cultural past
has fostered a special interest in adapting historic structures for
contemporary needs. He has already renovated numerous buildings
listed in the National Historic Register. With over twenty years
of community involvement as an Architect, he is on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, as well as a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the American Institute of Architects.
Mr. Crosskey is a registered Architect in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C., as well as being NCARB certified. He also has significant experience in the legal aspects
of architecture and construction, having served as an arbitrator, mediator & expert witness on numerous occasions.
