The project is situated on 14.6 acres of the former Ieal Forge Corporation. Ground level retail and combination of home-ownership and rental units should serve as an impetus for redevelopment in the area. Encompassing a rather large track of land, the design remains sympathetic to the individual character of the changing context. Additional design considerations included floodplain and environmental soils issues.
