The Linus B. Plimpton House was built in 1884 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a Landmark Building. The project involved renovating the building to provide 35 beds of transitional elderly housing. The goal was to provide for the new functional use and at the same time rehabilitate and preserve the original architectural features that make it a national landmark.
