Dedicated to the continued stewardship and conservation of America’s cultural past, Bill has continued to expand his interest in architectural preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse. He has dealt with the very practical matters surrounding the need to adapt historic structures to serve contemporary uses and requirements, yet at the same time preserve their historic architectural character.

In these endeavors, Bill has developed a high degree of technical expertise needed to successfully integrate modern architectural, mechanical, and electrical components into older structures, with a soft touch. During the course of his many preservation projects, Bill has extensively researched and utilized many of the technologies currently available for architectural restoration. He is remarkably experienced with all applicable building, fire and life safety, ADA codes and ordinances that pertain to both new and existing construction.
